Tyrimų kryptys

Įrangos ir metodų, skirtų sveikatos priežiūrai, sportiniam rengimui, sveikatos sutrikimų prevencijai ir diagnostikai, gydymui, reabilitacijai ir neįgalumo kompensavimui, kūrimas, tyrimas ir taikymas.

Pjezomechaninių aukštos skyros vykdiklių kūrimas, tyrimas ir taikymas preciziniam pozicionavimui, vibraciniam medžiagų apdirbimui ir kt.

Vibracinių mikro energijos generatorių ir mechaninių jutiklių su integruotais pjezokeraminiais bei pjezopolimeriniais keitikliais kūrimas, tyrimas ir taikymas lanksčiose, dėvimose ir daugiafunkcėse makro/mikro mechatroninėse sistemose.

 

Mokslo pasiekimai ir poveikis

KTU Mechatronikos institutas yra sukaupęs pripažintą mokslo potencialą bei mokslinių tyrimų ir eksperimentinės plėtros taikomųjų darbų patirtį, kurią sėkmingai panaudoja vykdydamas nacionalinius ir tarptautinius projektus pagal šalies ir užsienio ūkio, švietimo ir kultūros subjektų mokslinius ir taikomuosius užsakymus.

Pripažintas Instituto specialistų mokslinis autoritetas Universitete, šalyje ir užsienyje. Tyrimų rezultatai aktualūs Lietuvos apdirbamosios, sveikatinimo įrangos, mikrotechnologijų, mechatronikos, poligrafijos pramonės įmonėms, tokioms kaip UAB “Precizika Metrology”, Dovaina, Metec, Artmedica ir kt.. Jie naudojami kuriant naujas medžiagų apdirbimo technologijas ir bevielio ryšio įrenginius, jutiklius/aktuatorius, žmogaus sveikatinimo įrenginius, atliekant bioparametrinius matavimus ir monitoringą.

Kartu su įmone „BCT“ 2012-2014 m. vykdytas bendras Eurostars projektas „Moinfo“, su LINPRA FP-6 projektas „Manufuture 2013“, kurio rezultate kartu su Europos Komisija buvo identifikuojamos „Horizon 2020“ prioritetai, ir įvardinti 2013m. Vilniuje vykusiame tarptautiniame renginyje. Vykdant verslo partnerių užsakymus gauta dešimtis lietuviškų ir 2 tarptautinių patentų sertifikatai.

Instituto mokslininkų vykdoma mokslinė veikla skirta šiuolaikinių technologijų valdomų bevielio ryšio įrenginiais kūrimui, mikrosistemų dinamikos tyrimams ir žmogaus sveikatinimo ir terapijos įrenginių kūrimui ir taikymams. Atliekami tyrimai yra daugiakrypčiai, tarpdisciplininiai, aktualūs šiuolaikinei visuomenės raidai. Moksliniai rezultatai viešinami tarptautinėse konferencijose, publikuojami prestižiniuose tarptautiniuose aukštus citavimo indeksus turinčiuose ir įrašytuose į Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science sąrašą žurnaluose. Dvi monografijos išleistos leidykloje Springer. Mokslininkai yra įvairių mokslo leidinių redakcijos komisijose, redaguoja tarptautinį žurnalą „Mechanika“.

Instituto darbuotojai nuolat pirmininkauja ir organizuoja tarptautines konferencijas „Mechanika“, „Transporto priemonės“, MSM, 2018 metais pirminikavo pasauliniam Mechanikos ir Mechatronikos inžinerijos kongresui Dubajuje, yra tarptautinių konferencijų organizacinių komitetų nariai. Praėjusiais metais Instituto darbuotojai organizavo pasaulnės federacijos IFToMM vasaros mokyklą tema “MECHANIZMŲ PROJEKTAVIMAS IR TAIKYMAS MECHATRONINĖSE SISTEMOSE (MDAMS2022)”.

Instituto direktoriui prof. habil. dr. Vytautas Ostaševičius 2020.02.28 Valstybinės lietuvių kalbos komisijos (VLKK) įteiktas apdovanojimus už lietuvių kalbos puoselėjimą – reikšmingus lietuviškos terminijos kūrimo darbus, mokslo kalbos puoselėjimą ir visuomenės kalbinį švietimą. Profesorius yra pirmojo daugiakalbio „Mechanikos terminų žodyno” autorių.

2018 m. Lietuvos mokslo premija technologijos mokslų srityje skirta habil. dr. Vytautui Ostaševičiui, dr. Vytautui Jūrėnui ir dr. Rolanui Daukševičiui kartu su bendraautoriais už darbų ciklą „Mikromechaninių sistemų kūrimas, tyrimas ir taikymai (2003–2017)“. Pateikė Kauno technologijos universitetas.

2013 m. KTU aktyviausių jaunųjų mokslininkų konkurso nugalėtojas Mechatronikos instituto vyresnysis mokslo darbuotojas dr. Rolanas Daukševičius.

 

Mokslo infrastruktūra ir paslaugos

Mechatronikos institutas teikia atvirą prieigą prie gausios technologinės ir matavimų įrangos, kurios dėka mokslininkai gali vykdyti plataus profilio taikomuosius tyrimus įvairiose makro/mikro/bio mechatronikos kryptyse. Institute veikia pažangiausias regione lazerinės vibrometrijos ir holografinės interferometrijos kompleksas, kuris sudaro galimybes vykdyti  makro ir mikro konstrukcijų dinamikos tyrimus, būtinus kuriant įvairios funkcinės paskirties vykdiklius, jutiklius ar mikro energijos generatorius. Šiuolaikinė biomechaninių sistemų modeliavimo ir matavimo įranga naudojama sportinio rengimo, sveikatinimo, profilaktikos, diagnostikos, gydymo ir reabilitacijos priemonėms kurti. Pasitelkiant įvairiarūšę eksperimentinę įrangą institute atliekami sumanių, kompozitinių ir bioinžinerinių medžiagų kietumo, šiurkštumo, stipruminių, reologinių, elektrinių charakteristikų tyrimai. Maketų ir prototipų realizavimui taikomos tiek mechaninio apdirbimo, tiek adityvios gamybos technologijos. Institutas teikia technines konsultacijas, susijusias su (bio)mechatronikos technologijų kūrimu ar tobulinimu panaudojant turimą mokslinių tyrimų infrastruktūrą.

  • On-body wireless 3D kinematics measurement system for real-time human motion tracking based on inertial sensors (with 60 Hz update rate): MVN BIOMECH Awinda + software MVN Studio BIOMECH (Xsens Technologies B.V.).
  • Pressure mapping in-shoe sensing system for foot function & gait analysis F-Scan (Tekscan Inc.) and OpenGo Science (Moticon GmbH) for analysis of contact forces of the human foot.

  • A set of Polytec laser Doppler vibrometers (LDV) for in-depth dynamic characterization of both macro- and micro-scale structures:
    • Full-field 3D scanning LDV system Polytec PSV-500-3D-HV for full modal analysis of mini & macro structures (up to 25 MHz).
    • Microscope-based optical testing system Polytec MSA-500-TPM for out-of-plane/in-plane vibration and topography measurements of MEMS components. The system may be mounted onto manual or vacuum probe station (Cascade Microtech PMS150 or PLV50) for measurements both in ambient conditions or in high vacuum at elevated temperatures (up to 10-5 mbar & +200°C).
    • Single-point high-sensitivity autofocusing LDV system Polytec OFV-505 + OFV-5000.
